Congratulations to Bethel-Tate High School Senior Lily Hathcock on receiving a $6,000 scholarship from the University of Cincinnati Clermont! 🐾 This prestigious scholarship is awarded to only SIX students, and Lily’s hard work, dedication, and excellence earned her this amazing honor. Today, representatives from UC Clermont visited BTHS to personally present Lily with her scholarship, and we couldn’t be more proud! 🐯🎉

Bethel-Tate High School's Sources of Strength peer leaders have teamed up with the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation to become a certified kindness school. By becoming a certified kindness school, we provide a space for students to not only learn academic skills but also a space where compassion, respect and empathy can thrive. During advisory, we conducted a RAKtivist activity by making compliment cards. Each student created their own unique compliment card and then delivered them to their recipients. #RAKtivist #BTbettertogether

💵Our Bethel-Tate High School upperclassmen recently participated in the Real Money/Real World financial literacy activity, hosted by the Ohio State University Extension. This hands-on experience gave them a glimpse into managing a budget, paying bills, and making real-life financial decisions as an adult. Thank you to OSU Extension for helping prepare our students for life beyond the classroom! 🌟 #FinancialLiteracy #RealMoneyRealWorld #LifeSkills #BethelTateProud #BTBetterTogether

On Friday, October 25, 2024, Bethel-Tate High School will conduct a safety belt check on campus as part of an ongoing effort to promote safe driving habits among students. The event will take place from 7:15 AM to 7:45 AM on the east side of the high school campus, where School Resource Officer Randy McElfresh, along with three additional Clermont County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, will be checking for seatbelt compliance among student drivers. As a reward for their commitment to safety, students who are found wearing their seatbelts will receive a free drink card, generously donated by Biggby Coffee. A total of 250 free drink cards will be distributed during the checks, encouraging safe driving practices. This initiative underscores the importance of seatbelt use and is designed to keep students safe on the road. "Wearing a seatbelt is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect yourself in a vehicle," said Deputy McElfresh. "We want to remind our students that safety is a priority, and we’re thankful for Biggby’s support in this effort." The safety belt checks are part of Bethel-Tate High School’s broader commitment to student safety. By providing positive reinforcement, the school and law enforcement hope to encourage students to make seatbelt use a habit every time they get behind the wheel. BTHS and the Bethel-Tate School District also want to inform the public about this event to ensure transparency regarding the police presence on campus. By promoting awareness of the safety belt checks, the school hopes to prevent any misunderstandings and assure families that the event is a proactive safety measure. For more information about the event or other student safety initiatives, please contact Bethel-Tate High School Principal George Sturgeon or School Resource Officer Randy McElfresh.
