Thanks to the dedication of our Resource Coordinator, Tanya Pyles, students had the opportunity to connect with local business owners Scott Parker and his daughter, Shelby, who welcomed our group with open arms. Even more special, Scott is a proud Grant graduate of the mechanics program - the very same path one of our current students hopes to follow!
Students dove right into hands-on learning, gaining real-world experience by replacing spark plugs and practicing how to remove and mount tires. A big thank you to our paraprofessional, Mr. Cole, who brought in his own vehicle so students could turn learning into action!
The shop was filled with curiosity, smiles, and great questions as students explored what it’s like to work in a professional auto repair setting. Experiences like this help bring classroom learning to life and inspire future career paths.
We are so grateful to Tanya, Scott, and Shelby for creating such a meaningful opportunity for our students. It’s safe to say Parker Auto Repair has gained some lifelong fans - and maybe even future employees!

Their story was recognized for its emotional impact, strong storytelling, and meaningful connection to our community - an incredible achievement!
You can read their full award-winning story on our district website: https://www.betheltate.org/o/bths/article/2842777
Students then visited FOX19 for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at how live broadcasts come together. From the control room to standing on set during a live segment, they saw firsthand what it takes to bring the news to life.
A special thank you to Erin Ashley, Goshen High School graduate and FOX19 meteorologist, for hosting our students and sharing her journey and insights into the industry.
Opportunities like this give our students a glimpse into future careers and show the power of hands-on learning. We’re so proud of them! 💙🎬

The High School Drama Club is performing Beetlejuice Jr. on April 24th, 25th, and 26th! We are putting our final touches on our set and getting all the pieces into place for the production, but we are missing a few things. We are reaching out to the community to see if anyone would be willing to donate or allow us to borrow the follow pieces:
⭐ A crib (preferably lightweight and easy to move if possible)
⭐ Side table (intended to go next to a couch)
⭐ Lamp
⭐ Toaster (used as a prop)
⭐ Bowl of fake fruit
⭐ Kitchenette table
If you have one of these items and would be willing to donate it or allow the Drama Club to borrow it that would be greatly appreciated! Please contact Courtney Woodard at courtney.woodard@betheltate.org to organize a time for the item to be picked up or dropped off.
Interested in coming to see the Drama Club perform Beetlejuice Jr.?! Come out and see us April 24th to the 26th! Friday and Saturday showtimes are at 6pm and Sunday is at 5pm. Tickets for adults are $10 and students are $7.
You can buy your tickets online now at https://www.betheltate.org/o/bethel-tate-athletics/page/bt-athletics-box-office and or at the door.

What they’re working on is something special… 👀
Stay tuned! You won’t want to miss what they’ve been creating!

Even though Bethel-Tate Schools are closed for the rest of the week, Winter Homecoming will take place as planned on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
We can’t wait to see everyone there! 💙🐯

👏 Congratulations to Sam, Lili, and Haylee on this impressive achievement and for representing Bethel-Tate music so well!

Our students were incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity, and it truly showed through their kindness and appreciation for everyone who welcomed us.
To top off a wonderful day of service, we stopped by one of our favorite local businesses, Plane Street Cafe, for a delicious winter drink ☕❄️. We are thankful for their continued support of our students - just as they’ve done for events like the Senior Sunrise Breakfast.
We are proud of our Student Council for leading with heart and serving our community!

With help from students across the building, over 140 toys were collected and donated to the Bethel-Tate Fire Department to support local families.
We’re so proud of our students’ kindness, teamwork, and giving hearts. ❤️🎄 #TigerPride #BTBetterTogether

Today, they delivered 75 complete Thanksgiving meals for Bethel-Tate families - a generous gift that will bring warmth and comfort to many homes this holiday season.
Each year, Crossroads provides 50-75 complete meals to families in our district, and their continued support has touched countless lives. We are deeply appreciative of their ongoing commitment to our students, our families, and our community. 🦃
Hands-on, eye-opening, and surprisingly fun, this OSU Extension program helps teens connect the dots between education, careers, and financial independence.
Great job, juniors! The real world looks like it’s in good hands!

Students filled the hallways as they brainstormed, wrote, and decorated their cards with compliments and positive affirmations. Throughout the day, they spread kindness by delivering their cards - or leaving them in random spots like desks, mailboxes, and car windshields for others to find. It was a day that sparked smiles all across campus. 🐯✨
