Santa's Workshop will be December 11th-13th at William Bick Primary. Parents that have completed a background check are able to volunteer if they would like. This is a great opportunity for students to shop for their families.
This coming Friday is Winterfest at William Bick Primary. There
will be cookies to decorate, games to play, Christmas stories,
and Santa Claus. Each family can get (1)family photo with
Santa. It is free of charge.
Christmas Break begins on December 20, 2023. Students will return to school on January 2, 2024.
December is Christmas Spirit Dress-Up Month for students at William Bick Primary. During the month of December, there is a daily theme that students can choose to participate in if they would like to. Everything is voluntary and students can join in as much as they would like. The dress up schedule is attached.
Friday, December 8th will be Winterfest at William Bick Primary. It is an evening of fun, games, prizes, cookies, and best of all Santa Claus. You can get a family photo with Santa. Everything is free!! Festivities begin at 5:30 PM and conclude at 7:30 PM. We hope to see everyone there!
This Friday, December 1st will be the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting for William Bick Primary students. All K-2 students are invited to participate and sing a few Christmas carols to kick off the holiday season. The event this year will be held at Burke Park beginning at 6:30 PM.
There will be no school for students November 20-24th. School resumes on November 27th.
Thanksgiving Lunch is being served at William Bick Primary on Wednesday. It will be turkey with all the trimmings.

We had the privilege of hosting the critically acclaimed keynote speaker, author, evangelist, award-winning teacher, and coach, Willie Spears, right here at Bethel-Tate Schools on October 9th! 🎤
Mr. Spears kicked off two days of in-service training with an awe-inspiring opening session that left everyone feeling motivated and ready to make a difference in the classroom. 🏫💪
His presentation, "Motivating the Unmotivated and Add Value," was a game-changer. Mr. Spears shared his wisdom and insights on igniting the spark of learning, 🔥even in the most challenging situations.
Our teaching staff left the session feeling empowered and equipped to bring out the best in our students. 🙌✨

October Events at William Bick Primary
The staff at William Bick Primary wanted to say Thank You to all of the grandparents that were able to make it to our school this past week. We hope that you enjoyed spending some time with your grandchild(ren). Please know that we value and appreciate the role that you play in their education.
There is no school for students on Monday, October 9th and Tuesday, October 10th. These are inservice days for teachers.
The school fundraiser will be continuing through Friday, October 6th. If you have not had the opportunity to look at the items for sale, you still have plenty of time.
The students and staff along with several guests celebrated Mr. Bick's birthday this past Friday afternoon. It was a special event for a special man in our community.
Our school fundraiser is well underway and we have had a lot of student participation. If you have not had a chance to register and help your child sell some items , there is still plenty of time. We appreciate all of your support for our students!

The program will be streamed live 7-8 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2023, and will be accessible at https://cookcenter.info/Oct2CC. “What Parents Need to Know About Suicide Prevention” is the third installment of a 12-part virtual, interactive series of webinars designed to help parents and caregivers support students.
Registration, attendance and interactions are kept totally anonymous from other viewers.
