6th Grade Band and Choir had the opportunity to watch a live-stream concert from The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra! The program was "From Rags to Riches" and featured some of the roots of American music, including music composed about Cincinnati!
Ms. Frost, Lucy, and Violet had a great experience at Cincinnati Country Day School for Power of the Pen! Congratulations to Lucy on getting 5th place!
Mr. Baker's classes in February read Jack London, learned about the Klondike Gold rush and dog sledding. They learned about the Yukon Quest Dog Sled races, researched mushers and selected who they believed would win.

On Wellness Wednesday, 8th graders in Mrs. Frazier's PE classes participated in an activity about resisting peer pressure. They were able to work in teams and not be influenced by the opposing team.

Cheer tryouts for the '24-'25 football and basketball season start March 11th. Cheer tryout packets are located in the middle school office. In order to tryout, an athlete must submit a valid OHSAA physical and turn in the paper permission form located in the tryout packet. Email questions to Coach Lilly (katelyn.lilly@betheltate.org).
Track practices (boys and girls) will start the week of March 4-8 from 2:45-4:15 at the BTHS track. Athletes must be registered for track in Final Forms, sign athletic Final Forms and then submit a valid OHSAA physical to BTMS in order to participate.
