Bethel-Tate Local School District Superintendent Melissa Kircher has submitted her letter of resignation from the district, effective January 3, 2027. The Board of Education accepted Ms. Kircher’s resignation during its September 15, 2026 meeting.
Ms. Kircher has served the Bethel-Tate community for more than 15 years, beginning her career with the district in August 2011.
During her time in Bethel-Tate, Ms. Kircher has helped lead the district through years of change, challenges and progress, always with a focus on serving students, families and the Bethel-Tate community. Her departure comes as the district celebrates another strong showing on the Ohio School Report Cards, earning an overall 4-star rating and exceeding state standards.
