The April 7th, 2023 Spotlight focused on Michelle Carnahan, William Bick Primary School.
What is your teaching assignment?
My teaching assignment is at William Bick Primary. I am an intervention specialist and serve K-2 students.
Do you have an assignment in addition to teaching?
In addition to teaching, I am on the PBIS committee at Bick and was part of the Bick Winterfest planning committee.
How long have you been with Bethel-Tate?
I have been a teacher at Bethel-Tate for 6 years.
From where did you graduate high school & college (including degree received)?
I graduated from Alexander High School in Albany, Ohio. I attended college at Ohio University and received a bachelor of arts and a master of education. My licensure areas are special education and teaching reading.
Anything else you would enjoy students/families knowing about you?
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking new things, walking/being active, and traveling.
