Auditor of State Award
The Auditor of State Award is presented for exemplary financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP). Our Treasurer's Department earned this award every year from 2017 through 2021 at which time the district opted to transition to Cash Financial Statements. This move saves Bethel-Tate School District approximately $15,000 a year but makes the district ineligible for the Auditor of State Award. Even without this award, the Treasurer's Department consistently receives clean audits.
