The GRAMMY Museum and Recording Academy notified a total of 200 music teachers from 180 cities who are currently in the running for the award out of the thousands that were nominated.

“I am honored and humbled to be named a quarterfinalist for this award. I absolutely love teaching the students here at Bethel-Tate and I view this as a recognition not just for myself, but for the students who are such a joy to educate,” Mr. Glader said.

The 25 semi-finalists for the award will be announced in September. The final recipient of the 2026 Music Educator Award will be honored during GRAMMY Week 2026, days ahead of the 2026 GRAMMYs, officially known as the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
