The Bethel-Tate golf teams had a strong week on the course, highlighted by several impressive individual performances and strong team finishes.
Dollar General Classic | August 3
The Bethel-Tate boys finished second at the Dollar General Classic, shooting a team score of 170 to finish two strokes ahead of CNE and behind Lebanon.
Will Chaffin led the way for the Tigers, earning match medalist honors with a 3-over-par 38.
On the girls side, Abby turned in an outstanding performance, shooting a 2-over-par 38 to earn match medalist honors and finish an incredible 11 strokes ahead of second place.
Olivia also had a strong showing in her first match of the season, finishing 13th, while Logan Katzler posted a career-best 47.
Bethel-Tate Tigers Invitational | August 6th
The Tigers continued their strong play at the Bethel-Tate Tigers Invitational, with the boys finishing second out of 10 schools, falling only to West Clermont.
Will Chaffin and John both turned in excellent rounds, finishing tied for third individually out of 61 golfers.
The girls were once again led by Abby, who captured match medalist honors with an impressive 80, finishing first out of 25 golfers.
It was another strong week for Bethel-Tate golf, with the Tigers showing depth across both teams and several golfers continuing to make their mark early in the season.
