The Bethel-Tate Track & Field team closed out the district meet with a number of strong performances, personal bests, and memorable efforts against some of the toughest competition of the season. Leading the way for the Tigers were regional qualifiers Noah Brock and Colin Morsbach. Noah advanced to Regionals in the shot put with a fourth-place finish and a throw of 41-5.75, while also placing sixth in discus at 120-2. Colin secured his spot at Regionals with a third-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 10-0. Their performances reflected the consistency, work ethic, and competitiveness they have shown throughout the season, and both athletes now move on to represent Bethel-Tate at the regional level next week.

The Tigers also saw several athletes step up with season-best and personal-best performances on the track. Tristan Speigel continued his strong postseason progression, running personal bests in both the 800m prelims (2:19.63) and the 1600m finals (5:15.72). Eli Selm also earned a personal best in the 800m prelims with a 2:35.88 effort, continuing to show growth throughout his freshman season. On the girls' side, Raegin Jasontek posted a season-best 13.60 in the 100m dash against a highly competitive sprint field, while Avery Blankenship continued to contribute in both the 100m and 200m. Adelyn Fisher competed well in the 1600m, and Annabel Reed gained valuable postseason experience in the 800m.

The girls' relay groups once again demonstrated the depth and toughness of the program. The 4x200 relay team of Avery Blankenship, Addison Johns, Peyton Thomas, and Raegin Jasontek qualified for finals and finished eighth overall. In contrast, the 4x400 relay team of Addison Johns, Peyton Thomas, Raegin Jasontek, and Clara Reed advanced to the finals and placed seventh. The 4x800 relay team of Clara Reed, Addison Johns, Peyton Thomas, and Annabel Reed battled through a difficult field and continued to compete with determination. Across every relay, athletes were asked to take on multiple events, race on short recovery, and continue competing deep into the postseason, and they consistently answered that challenge.

The meet also highlighted the leadership and competitiveness of the senior class. Clara Reed closed out her district career with a strong performance in the 1600m finals, while Grace Tolliver narrowly missed regional qualification in the pole vault after clearing 7-6. Addison Johns and Peyton Thomas once again played major roles in multiple relay events, helping stabilize and lead the sprint and middle-distance groups throughout the postseason. Samantha Bolick, despite being unable to compete in the 800m at districts, remained an important part of the team throughout the year and contributed greatly to the culture and growth of the distance program.

The district meet marked the end of the high school track and field careers for Addison Johns, Samantha Bolick, Clara Reed, Grace Tolliver, and Peyton Thomas. Each of these seniors helped shape the culture of Bethel-Tate Track & Field through years of hard work, resilience, leadership, and commitment to their teammates. Their impact extended far beyond times, marks, and finishes. They helped mentor younger athletes, represented the program with pride, and played an important role in continuing to move the program forward. Their contributions and leadership will leave a lasting impact on Bethel-Tate Track & Field for years to come.
