Historic Football Season in 2017

The Bethel-Tate Football team had a record-setting season in 2017. The Tigers rolled to a 10-0 record for the first time in school history. The Tigers also hosted a Ohio High School State Playoff game for the first time ever as well. Quarterback Seth Becker was named SBAAC Player of the Year. Becker was also named 1st Team All-Ohio in Division V. Bradley Lewis, Owen Holtke and Cooper Dunn each earned All-State honors as well. Head coach Jeff Essig was named Coach of the Year in the SBAAC and was also honored with the Division V Ohio Coach of the Year. 


Boys Soccer 2017

The 2017 Bethel-Tate Boys Soccer team continued their winning ways when they won a 3rd SBAAC title in the last 4 years. The Tigers rolled to a 13-3 record despite losing Player of the Year candidate Christian Veve to a season-ending injury in a pre-season scrimmage. The Tigers were still a perfect 8-0 in league play. Robbie Perkins had a great season for the Tigers and was named SBAAC Player of the Year. Head Coach Dave Schellenberger earned SBAAC Coach of the Year honors. Tyler Baker, John Day, and Lukas Papadatos were all named 1st team All-SBC. Casey Fischer, Zane Royer, and Corey Struve earned 2nd team All-SBC honors. According to coach Schellenberger, next year's squad should be one of the best in the program's history. Stay tuned!!


Boys CCThe 2017 Boys Cross Country team had another amazing season after winning their 4th straight SBAAC title. Jackson Coates, the best CC runner to ever walk the halls of Bethel-Tate, was named Runner of the Year in the SBAAC for the 3rd year in a row. Head Coach Pam Taylor, arguably the best CC coach BT has ever had, was named Coach of the Year in the SBAAC for a 4th year in a row. Sam Frondorf was 1st team All-SBC, Matt Hall, Ian McQueary and Noah Rees each earned 2nd team All-SBC honors.

 Girls Soccer 2017

The 2017 Girls Soccer team made school history after winning the school’s first-ever outright SBAAC title. The Lady Tigers finished their historic season with a 10-3-2 record. Sophia Rodriguez, Natilie Struve, and Christa Vogel were all named 1st team All-SBC. Goalie Brooke Stiles was named Player of the Year. Macey Dunaway, Fiona Kanis, and Reagan Leonard were named 2nd team All-SBC. Head Coach Dan Silvis was named the SBAAC Coach of the Year. Coach Silvis’ squad returns almost all of his players next year.
