The Bethel-Tate Emergency Levy on the May 4, 2021, ballot passed (unofficial results) with 776 votes (56.6%) for the levy versus 594 votes (43.4%) against the issue.
“We are so grateful to the taxpayers in Bethel for the passage of our district’s emergency levy. The revenue from this levy is critical to maintain and protect our current programs and services moving forward. We value the trust our community has placed in the district and are thankful for the support they have shown to our staff and students,” said Superintendent Melissa Kircher. “We pledge to continue to be fiscally responsible as we educate and enrich the lives of the young people in the Bethel-Tate Local School District.”
The passage of the levy also means the district will not be making the cuts or reduction of services shared with you in earlier communications. We are so grateful that busing will continue for all grades, and our current class sizes and academic programs will remain intact.
