Explanation of the District’s Safe Return of In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services
Plan.


Bethel-Tate Local School District developed a Full-Return five days per week, Return to School plan
during the summer of 2020. The administration presented to the Board of Education the Full-Five
Day return for all- preschool – 8th grades student with social distancing of six feet or more.
Additionally, the administration presented to the Board of Education the Full-Five Day return for High
School Students with 3 feet of social distancing. The Board of Education unanimously approved both
plans during the July 16 2020 regular board meeting.

Bethel-Tate Local School District in May of 2021 modified the District’s facial covering policy to
comply with updated Federal Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the State of Ohio’s Health
Department rules and guidelines concerning facial coverings. The administration presented to the
Board of Education the revised plan during the regular May Board Meeting on 18th, 2021. The Board
of Education unanimously approved the revised facial covering policy.

Bethel-Tate Local Schools administration modified the District’s full return plans to comply with the
updated facial covering policy as well as the CDC and State of Ohio’s Social Distancing and Mass
Gathering Orders and updated guidelines.
