My mission is to raise the self-esteem of my students and empower them to reach their full potential. Each day, in all interactions with my students, I will treat them with respect, compassion and understanding. I will establish high expectations for them in academics, behavior and peer interactions; and I will hold them responsible for meeting these expectations.

The before school starts checklist:

Discuss with your child how you expect them to behave while they are at school.

Review with your child good bathroom behavior.

Close the door

Flush the toilet

Finish dressing before you open the door

Wash your hands

Write your child's name on the outside of their book bag and lunch box.

Make a commitment to work with your child at least 15 minutes a day, 4 times a week. You can start with something as simple as cutting on a line, printing their name, naming colors, numbers, letters, coloring inside the lines or sharing a good book.
