Giving Opportunity Established for Patrons of the Arts Patrons of the fine arts now have a way to provide permanent support for
expanded arts experiences in a rural community. The Bethel-Tate Arts
Appreciation Fund (AAF) has been established through The Greater Cincinnati
Foundation by a local resident.
About the Bethel-Tate Arts Appreciation Fund The fund (officially known as The Bethel-Tate Arts Appreciation Fund of The
Greater Cincinnati Foundation) was established to enhance academic achievement
and cultural awareness by financially supporting those events, projects,
programs and activities that foster and encourage an appreciation for the arts
through exposure and participation opportunities for the students of the
Bethel-Tate Local School District. The AAF will enable Bethel-Tate students to
participate in the fine arts “extras” that are limited locally, but readily
available to students in more affluent school districts throughout the nation.
Activities such as guest workshops and performing artists can open up a whole
new world of appreciation of the fine arts for students.
These and associated opportunities can be quite costly in today’s overstretched school budgets which focus on mandated state curriculum requirements. This local fund will help pay for these opportunities, as well as enable investors with an artistic passion to focus on a specific cause.
